Keeping separation equipment running and functioning at optimal levels is critical to many applications, and working with a qualified service provider can make all the difference. Here are five things to look for when you’re choosing a centrifuge service provider.

1. Commitment to Quality

Above all else, you want a service provider who’s committed to quality. One way you can find out if a provider is doing quality work is to hear about their reputation in the industry. Beyond word of mouth, a well-established service provider should be able to provide you with customer references upon request.

A quality service provider is going to give you the peace of mind that they are doing their due diligence when working on your equipment and help to keep your work environment safe.

2. Experience

Experience servicing centrifuges in the field is irreplaceable - it builds a certain level of expertise. It's a good idea to check if your service provider has factory-trained technicians who know how to work on OEM machines. Then, ask out how much time they’ve spent out in the field. A technician who really knows these machines is going to be able to spot issues and solve problems above and beyond what you can expect with a standard maintenance visit.

Our service technicians work on all brands and all sizes of machines. Instead of having one service provider for each brand in your facility, Separators technicians can quickly and efficiently service all separation machines to keep your operation up and running.

3. Response Time

You can tell how much a service provider values you as a customer by their response time. If you find yourself in need of emergency centrifuge service, you want a provider that’s going to respond during those critical times. And even if it’s just a need for routine service or maintenance, work with a company that gets back to you in a reasonable time.

We have service technicians positioned all across the United States, and we have customers in just about every state. Our geographical placement also allows us to dispatch technicians more efficiently.

4. Availability of Parts

Whether you’re running a dairy separator, wine clarifier, or any centrifuge, you want to keep it functional at all times. But just like any equipment, these machines require service and replacement parts. You want a centrifuge vendor who can quickly supply you with the parts you need. Oftentimes, we’re able to dispatch technicians and ship replacement parts at the same time, allowing us to fix your machines more quickly.

5. Longevity

The final important factor to look for in a centrifuge service provider is how long they have been around. A provider that doesn't have great service won't have staying power in this industry. In order to stay in business over the long haul, a provider has to be knowledgeable and have dependable, skilled technicians.

A time-tested service vendor is going to be one you can rely on when you need them most. They are going to have a comprehensive stock inventory and the technical expertise to keep your processes up and running.
